Philippians
A thank-you letter with joy running through it, written by a man in chains. Philippians is where contentment is described as something learned rather than felt. The readings here divide between two chapters: the one where he empties himself and takes the lower place, and the one that tells anxious people what to do with the anxiety before the day starts.
