There have been many people throughout the Bible that were known for their faith and how they walked with the Lord. Hebrews 11:2 says, “Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.” Romans 4:3 more specifically says, “For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.”” Abraham’s belief in the Lord was counted to him as righteousness. Abraham trusted God and followed Him to a new land. He continued to show his faith when he was willing to sacrifice his son to show his love and devotion to the Lord.
Noah showed his faith by building an ark and preparing for a worldwide flood before it happened. Joseph showed faith by trusting in the Lord his entire life even when life was very difficult. Ruth followed her mother-in-law and her faith to another land. Esther trusted that God could deliver their people. The list goes on and on. There are so many who showed their faith throughout the Bible.
