2 Timothy
The last letter Paul wrote, from prison, knowing how it ends. He asks for his coat and his books, and tells Timothy to hold on to what he was given. The readings here return most often to the first chapter: the faith that was in a grandmother before it was in the boy, and the reminder that what was handed over was a spirit of power and love and a sound mind.
