Job

A good man loses everything and his friends explain why, and they are wrong about all of it. Job refuses to tidy suffering into a lesson, and it is where I go when someone wants an answer I do not have. The readings here skip the long middle where the friends argue, and come from the redeemer who lives, the plea for one kind friend, and the end, where more is given back than was taken.
